For those of you following interior designer Scott Steacy's current project, here is the latest update. I'm told that this was probably the worst time to take pictures as every part of the house is in complete transition.
The picture above is taken at the back of the property where Scottie is literally extending the entire back of the home and creating an open plan, inside-outside living area with floor to ceiling sliding doors leading out to a wonderful decked patio area. To enable this, a new back wall, and concrete foundation was poured recently.
The master bedroom ensuite will also open out to the back garden and benefit from it's own private patio deck and hot tub area.
The area above will soon become a stunning open plan kitchen with floor to ceiling doors and windows opening out to the garden and patio deck area.
you can see the extended portion of the kitchen built out over the new concrete foundation. this will give the rear of the house a flat profile. The side of the buildiing will be opened up and built out over the current garage to create a huge living room connected to the kitchen area seen in the picture below and the dining area. The area covered by the blue tarp will see the roofline extended to continue the line and allow the kitchen area to access the garden directly through full height glass doors.
