My clients who are building in Bonnie Bay have finally started to have something show above ground! So I will have to change the title to the Re-appearing house!
After nearly a year of planning, design and securing the appropriate building permits. They have now gone from a rough, "blasted" whole in the ground, as seen in my previous post on the subject to pouring the concrete for the ground floor.
The contemporary glass, steel and concrete construction will have approximately 4,800 sq. ft. of open-plan living space. A stunning infinity pool and will of course include the latest sustainable technical elements every modern home should include. Such as heat recovery system, geo-thermal source, underground rain collection water tanks for recycling rain and "grey water" sustainable irrigation purposes. (more on the technical side later.)
